Shilpa’s Television Career
After winning the “Miss Karnataka” title, Shilpa entered the television industry through a show called “Life Super Guru”. It was a reality show. She also worked as a model. She has stated in an interview that initially she thought she was the best actress. But only after auditioning for a Kannada film, she came to realize that she didn’t have sufficient knowledge in acting. This prompted her to go to a theatre and learn acting professionally. After six months of practice, she gained enough confidence to continue her acting journey. She eventually started appearing on road shows and was often seen in videos.
